WHY CHOOSE A
FLOWER TATTOO?
Flower tattoos are a timeless way to honour life experiences, loved ones, and personal transformations.
Each bloom carries its own symbolism: roses for love and grief, magnolias for resilience, lotuses for awakening.

Step One: The Reading
Every Flower Tattoo session begins with a tarot reading.
The cards open space for reflection, revealing patterns, challenges, or opportunities that may shape your next chapter.
These insights guide not only your design but also which flowers or symbols may resonate most deeply with your story.

Step Two: The Healing
After the reading, Lucy guides you through an intuitive energy healing.
By working with your energy centers and meridians, she helps clear blocks and restore balance, creating space for new growth.
Clients often describe this stage as feeling like the moment a flower opens: lighter, calmer, and more grounded.

Step Three: The Design
Together, you and Lucy will transform the insights from your reading and healing into a symbolic flower design.
Lucy sketches in real time, explaining her choices and inviting your input. This collaboration ensures your flower tattoo is personal, meaningful, and rooted in your unique story.

Step 4: The Flower Tattoo
Once you align with the design, the tattooing begins.
Each line, petal, and stem is applied with presence and care, anchoring the guidance from your tarot reading and energy healing into a living symbol.
Whether it’s a birth flower, a rose of remembrance, or a magnolia of resilience, the tattoo blossoms into a permanent reflection of your transformation.
Your Flower Tattoo becomes both art and energetic medicine, carried with you long after the session as a reminder of growth, beauty, and meaning.

Sabrina's Birth Flower Tattoo Sleeve
My sleeve tattoo has the birth flowers of my family - my three dogs, myself/my partner (we have the same) and my mom. My dogs are my world and I wanted something beautiful to symbolize them. This sleeve means a lot to me and it represents who I am, who I strive to be, the beauty in nature and following my dreams.
You created a beautiful piece of art with great intention behind it and I love it so much!

Where Is The Studio?
The journey to our studio is part of the experience.
Just a 70-minute ferry ride from downtown Vancouver, a 2-hour sailing from Horseshoe Bay, or Tswassen, a 2-hour drive from Victoria, or a short flight into Nanaimo Airport (YCD), our studio is closer than you think.
The trip home offers time for quiet reflection, watching the ocean horizon while you absorb the meaning of your new tattoo. Extend your stay on the island, and visit spiritual shops in Nanaimo BC, or let the nature, pace and vibe of the island ground the transformation before you return to the rhythm of daily life.
When you get an Intuitive Tattoo, the experience begins long before you step into the studio, and continues long after you leave.

Birth Flower FAQ
What are the birth flowers of each month?
Each month has one or two flowers linked to it, symbolizing traits or blessings.
For example, January’s flowers are carnation and snowdrop, July’s are larkspur and water lily, and December’s are holly and narcissus.
Birth flower tattoos let you honor your birthday or celebrate loved ones through meaningful floral symbolism.
Is there a flower for each Zodiac?
Yes, in addition to monthly birth flowers, every zodiac sign is connected with a flower that reflects its qualities.
For instance, Leo is linked to the sunflower for its warmth and boldness, while Pisces is tied to the water lily for intuition and depth.
Many choose tattoos blending both systems.
Who came up with the birth flower?
The tradition of birth flowers developed in Victorian England, when flowers were used to express meaning and sentiment in art and daily life.
Over time, each month was paired with symbolic blooms.
While no single person “invented” it, the practice grew from cultural associations and the language of flowers.
What month has two birth flowers?
Several months are associated with more than one birth flower.
For example, April has both the daisy and the sweet pea, June includes the rose and honeysuckle, and August features gladiolus and poppy.
This dual symbolism allows people to choose the flower that feels most aligned with their story.
Why are there two different birth flowers for each month?
Some months have two flowers because traditions varied across cultures and eras.
Over time, both were recognized and kept. For example, May has lily of the valley for humility and hawthorn for protection.
Having two flowers gives you more choice and richer symbolism when designing a birth flower tattoo.
