Intuitive Tattoos is a tattoo studio, online tarot reading service, and online shop created by artist Lucy Stainsby.
Lucy combines over a decade of experience in fine art, tarot, and tattooing to create designs that are more than skin deep.
Each tattoo piece is guided by intuition, symbolism, and personal meaning - whether it’s a spiritual tattoo, a sigil, or a sacred geometry design.
Based on Vancouver Island BC, clients travel from across Canada and beyond to experience Lucy’s process, which blends conversation, tarot readings, and collaborative design into a transformative session.
Just an hour by boat from downtown Vancouver, the studio offers not only a tattoo, but a journey: a chance to align inner stories with permanent art.

About Lucy
I began Intuitive Tattoos because I saw how powerful it could be to combine art with energy work and intention.
For me, tattooing isn’t just about creating something beautiful, it’s about creating something meaningful that becomes part of your journey.
Every session is personal, channeled in the moment, and designed to hold the symbols and energy you need most right now.

Travel to Intuitive Tattoos
Just a 70min fast-ferry ride from downtown Vancouver, a 2-hour sailing from Horseshoe Bay, or Tswassen, a 1.5 hour drive from Victoria, or a short flight into Nanaimo Airport (YCD), our studio is closer than you think.
The ferry ride home offers time for quiet reflection, watching the ocean horizon as you absorb the meaning of your new tattoo. Extend your stay on the island and visit the spiritual shops in Nanaimo BC, or let nature, silence, and stillness of the Island anchor the transformation before you return to the rhythm of daily life.
At Intuitive Tattoos, the experience begins long before you step into the studio, and continues long after you leave.
